I have a 2001 Gsr with bolt ons and vafc 2. My car at random times idles between 1600 and 1700 rpm. When i accelerate the car shakes a bit under 2000 rpm, but everytime i shift, the car jumps back. For example when you down shift in a car its usually smooth but when my idle problem happens the motor jumps back. I thought it could be the motor mounts but when i turn off the car for 5 seconds and restart it , its perfectly fine. Any advice would help thanks

 

you mean it bucks or stutters? Kinda sounds like you have a aggressive clutch... not really sure what's going on, it could be a combination of things..

 

More like bucks , hard movement.
