Default Driving a FWD Honda in the snow/cold

The wife and I are pretty much FL natives - I've lived in NC but don't get tons of snow there.

We may be going to Denver, CO for 6 months, starting in March. Any forseen problems with bringing our Honda's (civic si, slightly lowered, her '00 accord)? Is this a good excuse to go buy a truck?

fwd is easier to drive in the snow, only problem i would see especialy here in south east wisconsin is the aftermarket suspension rusting up on you because of the salt, if its ajustable make sure you cover the threads with some kinda of silicone so that it can still move, and it all depends how much it snows for how low you have the car. main thing is if its ever warm enough or you have a place to do it wash it as much as possible
