Gutted cat ???

If i put a gutted cat on my car will i get a check engine light? I have a 96 GSR in my hatch. Any help would be appreciated guys. Thanx.

yes.
it will come on not right away but it will eventually prolly in a couple of weeks.

In my experience, it wont.. but friends lights have came on and they soldered the positive and negative wires together, problem fixed.

plz dont do it. the gains arent worth the pollution and gawd awful smell youll have in your car. get a high-flow cat, if you really need it.
