SRI to CAI
So I made the switch last night from a Fujita SRI to an AEM CAI. Wow I am very impressed. I drove on the SRI for about 20,000 miles and I really noticed a difference. The car has a good bit more pep in its step and throttle response is much better. When I lift the throttle the car slows and when I throw her to the floor she is spinning up quick! Can't wait for Road Atlanta in March again!

I actually swapped my SRI out earlier this week. Not for a CAI though.</TD></TR></TABLE>
^ the X intake?
ive been wanting to use my cold air AEM piping, with that apexi'i filter. that would be dope.

Nope not the "X-intake"
I don't have his extra special MAF housing. I only have the stock one cut out of the airbox with a Bpi FlowStack (velocity stack and filter)

I can post a pic if you'd like.

I don't know if all of the difference is from switching from SRI to CAI or just from getting rid of the Fujita. I had read on 8th that people were having issues with Fujita specifically. My K&N had terrible throttle response, but screamed between 6k-8k.
I apologize for the threadjack cutler2start
What I ended up doing wasn't necessarily to try and make more power, but more to improve drivability through the whole RPM range. It's worked well so far.

ignore the blue tape on the radiator hose, it's left over from the K&N. The hose that feeds the bottom of the airbox is the same deal, just leftover.
