Code 2 with P72 ECU
Just starting to break in my rebuilt GSR motor. I'm using Rywire's conversion harness along with a stock p72 ECU. I also have the CEL switch hooked up with the Rywire harness. It's a feature that lets me check the codes via the CEL in the cluster. Strange thing is that the CEL does not come on at all but when I turn the switch on, the CEL will blink two times (code 2). I have already reset the ECU. The code will go away for a while and then just reappear again. This only happens when I turn the switch on however. Car runs fine but just not sure what is causing this code 2. I've looked at my Integra and CRX manual and code 2 is not listed. Just checking to see if anyone else has had this problem.
when the car is on and running, without the jumper wire grounded, do you have a CEL? that wire should not be grounded unless you have a CEL. if it has no CEL when the wire is not grounded then you should be fine.
maybe this will help you.
