I'm currently putting a *boosted* LS/VTEC into one of my hatches. The engine ran a 12.4 in a 3rd gen Integra mounted with DR's. The Integra was a stock 98 GSR, so it weighed somewhere in the neighborhood of 2600. The hatch that it's going into is stripped and caged and scaled at 2160 full of fluids. I'd say that's going to be quite a bit better than a "standard V8". Hopefully that gives you a starting point of some sort.
