Default I hate to ask for an opinion, but I'm unbeliveably torn

I've been researching for the past 6 months and will be pulling the trigger soon on a suspension setup for my EM2.

I don't have a set price limit, but at the same time I'm thinking anything in the $1,000-$1,200 range will be more than suitable for my driving needs.

Car is going to be 95% street driven with the occasional autocross. We have potholes everywhere here, so while ride quality is a definite plus, but it is not a necessity for my young back.

From my research, I'm leaning towards RS*R Ti2000 springs on Bilstein sport shocks.
Bilstein seems to be on the top of the damper food chain, and the RS*R's high tensile strength and lightweight are appealing.

I've also considered the Eibach Pro-Street-S Coil-Over kit as well as Tein SS-P's and the KW's, but I don't know what will be optimal.

I know those who frequent this forum probably see a dozen posts like this everyday, so bear with me as I try to get more knowledgeable opinions

Now that I look at it, these opinion threads aren't objective enough to get anything worth while.

Eibach Prokit S coilover or RS*R Ti2000 experiences to share?

Ive installed KW variant 3s on several european cars, M coupe, S4, Mini, from that experience they are very reasonable in ride quality, they are also double adjustable so you can tighten up the compression and rebound for track days and autocrosses.

Bilstein shocks are always good. HD or sports. THey also make a non adjustable dampening threaded body (ride height adjustable) coilover for older civics. I've seen them priced really well before. WOrth checking into.

Im sure the eibach coilover would be pretty comfotable as well.

I had KW's (v3's) on my wrx. They were very nice, but one blew at under 7k miles, and KW was basically impossible to work with on getting the shock fixed. Their US office has one guy (mike?) doing this stuff, and he was always out of the office. Finally my retailer stepped up and made it happen. kudos to him for being a great guy.

As for the KW ride, it was excellent. And totally adjustable. I was the only one I have ever heard of with a blown KW shock, so I almost consider my case not valid. I really liked everything about the KWs. Oh.. and after 1.5 years on the car, they cleaned up with simple green to look brand new. That stainless does do wonders in the salt.

I have bilsteins on my factory five cobra. They work excellently, and are the threaded body, non-adjustable type. I just wish they were adjustable. Really important for a car that serves any double duty.

I would seriously consider the KW's. Their US presence is only getting stronger, so their support system is getting alot better. The ride is perfect, and they dont get nasty and rusty (think tein).

The V3's may be more then you need, but the V2's are great also. Look at the pricing, and if you are happy, PM me and I will refer you to the dealer that sold me mine.. He is an amazing guy who really stands behind his products..
