Default Rough Riding CRX

I just recently purchased my first honda, a 1991 DX CRX. I've only had the car for four days now and overall I love it. One major complaint I have is the ride I'm getting from it.. it is so ROUGH. I live in central PA and our town just recently got completely ripped up because they are replacing pipe lines in the entire town. I wouldn't complain so much if I just drove it to work and back home, but that is the problem... I'm a delivery driver for a pizza shop. It is lowered on coilovers and has stock struts and it is extremely stiff. I don't know too much about suspension because I'm new to this scene and that is why I've come to HT.

Basically my question is what would be the easiest fix for this stiff ride? Thanks in advance for the help!

Pull a set of used stock springs and shocks from an '88-91 Civic or CRX in a local junkyard.

Disassembling the stock coilover assembly requires a spring compresser, and your stock shocks are likely blown after being used with aftermarket adjustable coilovers anyway - so you might as well just pull the complete units from the donor car and swap them on as assembled units.

that certainly would be the easiest because it requires less disassembly.

also, your bushings, balljoints and steering rack are probably all shot and majorly contributing to the rough ride.

youre looking at a lot of labor all together. but doing as targa said is not a bad idea if you thats all you want.

Alright.. thanks for the help already guys. I'm gonna take thost suggestions into account and start looking for some part car CRXs in my area.

Another option I was thinking about was going with a better brand coilovers and springs. I'm 90% positive that the kid that owned it before me just put it on cheap ebay coilovers... would a company like Skunk2 or Tein produce a better ride? This may be an option after I get some ideas of what would work best and figure out how much it would all cost. If it is too pricey for now (didn't plan on putting to much money into it until Spring because it will be closer to me quitting this job to go to college) I will just go with your original suggestions.
