b18c1 starting problems
Hey guys, I've searched the site and couldnt find anything concerning my exact problem...so any help would be appreciated.
This is the first time anything has happened like this...earlier before this happened the car started up perfectly. But this particular time, I stepped into my car, turned the key and waited for the fuel pump to cycle over, all the lights and gauges were working including my headlights etc...but when I try and start the car fully, absolutely nothing happens. no clicking, no sounds, the starter isnt doing anything...NOTHING happens...
the battery is good, everything worked perfectly an hour before this happened....any suggestions?

has the starter ever been replaced? you might consider if not. before purchasing one new, have a parts store test the starter to make sure that it is bad and the cause of the problem.

No, the starter hasnt been replaced, but its never given me any problems before...usually (in my experience with starters) they will at least give you signs of going out. I've never cranked the starter longer than 2 seconds before the motor turned over, so no strain has really been put on it...

there is a first time for everything. i have had starters that give me no notice before checking out. i would go ahead and get it tested first. always start with the easiest and cheapest first when troubleshooting.
