So... I was at Tagracecraft the other day and took a couple of spy pics of Mel's new modified car. Look'in good so far! Only took them a couple of days to strip the car and get to this point. I'll try to get more pics next week.

Enjoy!

Enjoy!

ya the rules are kinda hazy that way between modified and pro rwd sometimes there isn't much difference....from what i understand that is why brent rau couldn't run nhra modified there rules are slightly different from nopi's.
here what the old 07 nhra rules were
FWD and AWD
cars may be converted to RWD configuration. Converted cars may only be backhalved, may not be full-tube chassis, and must retain
stock front suspension, original floorpan forward of rear seat,
minus 6 square feet for transmission removal, and original firewall.

Mark if you look closely, you will see the front floor panels to the right and the left of the bars and the rans. channel. The floor is onlt missing from the center (trans area) and from behond the driver and passenger areas.
Looks good guys, should be interesting to see.
You may want to talk to ElevatedJ32, his name is Tom, he is building a CL-S Modified car with the J32 motor.

YEah. Our car is this way. Little do most people know. a lot of modified cars are full tube chassis cars with all the required stuff per rules put back in place.

Its an Accord body with an S2K motor. Attached to that is a G Force GF-2000 tranny. Should be badass this time around
The car will be backhalved with the stock fire wall.
No 350Z, he's keeping that as his track car. Although our shifter karts are faster anyway

[QUOTE=AllMotorMark]here what the old 07 nhra rules were
There was a rule revision to allow 4-cylinder and rotary engines to have non-oem floors.

Floor: Add “on all 6-cylinders” after “OEM floorpan”
