This will be my first time ever at a track. I missed last weekend's Speedventures event due to rain. I have a few questions before heading out.
1. I didn't see any info on whether I will need an instructor for this event. If there is info on whether I'll need an instructor, can someone point me in the right direction. If I don't need an instructor, is there a newbie meeting I can attend where I can get info on flags, rules, etc.
2. How many sessions will there be for each group?
3. I'd like to sign up but I don't want to do so until the week prior to the event, that way I can check the weather report to make sure it won't rain. I don't want to race in the rain. Historically, does this weekend get filled up pretty quickly? I read on the site I can get a full refund if I withdraw two weeks prior to the event, but its hard to predict the weather 2 weeks before. Heck its hard to predict even one week before the event.
4. My father in law would like to race my car as well. Is there a multiple driver discount if he races my car?
Thanks in advance for any help.

1. An instructor is not required. We have them available for you at an additional cost of $50. There is a meeting in the morning to cover everything you will need to know, before heading out onto the track.
2. Each group will receive 5 run sessions on the day.
3. You can sign up in the last week before the event, assuming there are open spaces left. It is a weekend event, so odds are it will sell out.
4. If you and your father-in-law share the car in the same run group, there is no additional fee. If you each want to receive 5 run sessions (for a total of 10 between the both of you), you will need to pay for two registrations.
