eg mpfi setup on a 90 dx
hey guys, I have a 93 eg sohc vtec intake manifold, wiring harness, resistor box, and p28 ecu. is this everything i need to convert my 90 dx to mpfi...i did searches and im confused thnx.
yes but you dont need a p28 thats for a vtec motor and its obd1. if your just using your stock dx motor and making it dpfi then you need the manifold you allready have, a d16a6 dizzy, and a p06 ecu. and if you use the eg obd1 injectors you dont use the resistor box or you can get some obd0 injectors and use the resistor box. you use your stock dx engine harness and add the plugs for the fuel injectors and a different dizzy plug. you can sell the p28 and probably have enough to buy the correct parts.
ok thanks for your help.but u said dpfi. im converting to mpfi. wouldnt i need a pm6 not a p06?

what are youtalking about? you need to conver to mpfi if you want to. you always use the stock engine harness for your car.
