Default COilovers choice !

Hey

Couldn't find the coilovers topic.

Got to choose between

KW V2
and
Tein Monoflex

What would you recommand for AP1 with 18" rims (225/40 and 255/35),
40% street / 30% hard touge / 20% highway / 10% track

Thanks !

I hear GREAT things about the feel of the MONO Flex.

I have the FLEX and still love 'em to death.

My vote goes for TEIN mono flex if you wanna pay the price.

Damned not that easy.

I read monflex is better when attacking, don't mind about the 200$ more...

Still don't know... wanna buy before end of the month !

the mono's i rode in felt more solid than the BC race specs. But i would choose the kw's if you're concerned about DD or stiffness.

There're 2 sets of KW V3s for sale on S2ki right now that have really low miles and they're going for about the same price as new V2s. I say go that route. I doubt they're too soft, but if you think they are, you can order different spring rates for them. I've got a set with 10k pound springs.

If you had 10k pound springs your back would be shattered by now. 10kg/mm is more correct , or about 550lbs/in.
