Default Cage -- Rear Sturt Bar Question

For the rear bar, what do most people do?

Remove the triangle? Build a box around it? Something else?

I would just trim that gusset down. Leave as much material as you can on the car. CHop the top of it and box it in once the plate is on.

Drill out the spot welds, and remove that triangle. Form the 6x6 plates around the side of the strut tower. /thread

may be right, that may go down to the suspension mounts for the LCA's.

maybe put the plates on the floor pan kinda behind the towers, and weld brackets that the struts bolt too also to the rear bars where they pass the strut tower

You could also box them in. Below is a picture of how mine are done in my Integra.
