Removing Paint from Interior Panels...
.. i know it's been covered many many times. In my DC5, the panels were painted blue, I removed and changed the fronts but dont feel like buying new parts.
Like I notice on some parts when the paint is chipped you can scrape it off when a scraper. It's almost like fiberglass kinda, it's not just spraycan but it was done clean. I'm just wondering if Aircraft Paint remover would remove it without damaging the actual panels?

aircraft remover is way too strong, do you know what type of paint is it?
try to rub a corner of the paint with gasoline or actone, most 1k stuff came off like that.
becareful, you don't want to use some of those stuff on urtherane finish(think fake leather grain plastic, softer kind)

My entire interior trim pieces were painted white/red.. Instead of replacing it all, heres a run down of how I sorted it out..
Wirebrushed/sandpapered everything. Which didn't do anything really.
Grabbed some for-Vinyl Fusion paint, which bubbled off.
Engine Enamel Dupont paint.. Which bubbled off immediately.
Ended up grabbing a couple cans of Bedliner flat black paint, threw a coat down which covered everything, let it sit near a fire to dry, then covered it with another coat of the engine enamel, which stuck.
No scratches, chips, flakes, nothin' since doing.. This was 2 months ago.. Looks factory (entire bottom part of the dash and console were WHITE.. top remained black and unmolested) - I've never had anyone notice a difference, except in texture on a few parts that got sanded too hard.

when i was 16 i sprayed some panels in my car
just the other day I was putting my interior back in and tried nail polish remover on the panels and it worked pretty good, just be generous with it... and dont use the aircraft remover I've seen it eat plastic
