Ok... To start off.. This build is a LSVtec swap, going into a 1993 OBD1 Integra.

I believe the intake manifold I have is a Gen2 B16 (three raised bars on top of the manifold, VS the PGMFI lable), but my question is, which IACV should I use? Upon searching the web a bit, I found the comparison picture posted on FFSquad

And, upon looking at my B16 manifold (and a B18B manifold), it looks as though the B16 can use both of the different IACV types?


Bottom is the B16, top is a B18B.

So, bottom line, my question is: Is there a difference between a VTEC IACV and non-VTEC IACV? And, which should I be using for my setup? ('93 obd1 Integra, using a chipped P28 ecu)

 

or get a block plate..and disable it in the ecu.
but ya use w/e fits there is no difference..they all do the same ****.

 

I believe either on will work. Look at the hole pattern on the manifold.

 

The bolt pattern fits BOTH idle air control valves. That's kind of my question. Thanks for the input so far.
