Can Intercoolers work without a turbocharger?? How much would that help my car??HP & Torque?

it will, and they actually make interfilters or whatever its called, its a filter mounted in the same place but looks like a fmic. However it would be considered rice if thats what your using it for.

^^ , LOL. you would be better of getting a c/f power chamber or something thats at least somewhat tuned. Intercooler just a intercooler, only reason it really works is to cool the heated air from the turbo. Your atmoshperic air temp wont change in it if your n/a. The air hitting the fmic is the same temp as whats going in it . My bad on saying it will.

Is this what you mean. Or putting the filter on one end of the intercooler and then on up.

 

An intercooler takes a hot air charge from a turbo and cools it to the temperature or close to the temperature of the ambient air. If you were to use one on an NA car, you would see absolutely no gains because the air charge is already at ambient temperature.

even Forza Motorsports knows the answer to this. GO see what it says if you try to buy an intercooler for a naturally aspirated car.

 

dont get a actual intercooler unless you have turbo. otherwise your just asking for trouble. just dont do it.

 

it will have the same spiral effect as the Tornado intake system. resulting in nothing but pure horsepower gains and better fuel economy, buy two

you should get a turbo timer too
so you can get outthe car, and it'll still be on, and magically turn itself off.
