best way to take out a motor?

Default best way to take out a motor?

okay guys its my 92 integra gsr. i really need help its my first ever tear down/stripping of a car. so far engine bay wise i have

pwr steering
ac compressor
all the little mounts that hold those two in
radiator
ac cond.
exhaust manifold not the downpipe out

idont have much room to work with my dads p.o.s. dodge caravan is litterally --->----------------<---- that far away from my integra i had to FOLD BOTH MIRRORS so the dam car would fit and yes i do have room on the other side to walk up and down. SOOO I HAVE NO CHANCE but to take out the motor from the top RIGHT? all thats left for me to do is d/c everything off the intake manifold (im thinking to just take it off? what do you guys think waste of time or not?) so if anyones done this before which im sure alot of you have give me some tips please!!! i thinking to just cut off the front of the car(rad support because its damaged anways) so people help a brother outtttt! oh and btw http://www.canadiantire.ca/bro...views

dude you shouldn't be doing this, unless you have someone with knowledge helping you out

If its your first time, i would suggest getting someone to help you or get a Helms/Chilton manual

you can drop swap out the bottom as well.

IMO dropping it out the bottom is the easiest way to do it.

right onto a 4 wheel dolley it's pretty damn simple for sure

We used to use a cherry picker and lifted it, but from the bottom IS easier...

how can you fit the motor out of the bottom wtihout jacking up the car 4-5 feet? i dont have 4 foot jackstands, and i can only DREAM about having a lift in my garage.

4-5 feet? Do you have a tractor motor in your teg?

All you need is a decent jack, couple jack stands and some blocks of wood.
