We have to replace our engine wiring harness and its a 93 LS. Will a 94-95 ls wiring harness work on this?

The harness is burnt and needs to be replaced and we have an extra wiring harness for a 94-95, just trying to see if this will work or if we need to track down a 93 ls harness

Note: the car is a 93 ls with a jdm b18b motor (pretty much the same as a b18b1)

 

I doubt it, the ECUs are completely different between those years.

 

BUT 92-95 are all obd1....

 

Maybe then, as long as all the sensors are also in the same locations.

 

yes both the harness and the car are obd1..thats why i thought they would work

Well then why not

You'd probably have a problem with the dizzy/alt/injectors if it wouldn't work.

 

Are the blocks the same? all sensors in the same place, etc?

the motor in the car is a jdm b18b..the harness is for a b18b1..i think the motors are basically the same

they are the same ecu..pr4 in the car and 92-95 obd1 are pr4

 

I honestly don't see why it wouldn't work, same OBD and practically the same engine...

 

Then yeah, try it out. For some reason i was thinking the 93 was OBD0. If the blocks and sensors are the same, it should work.

 

It worked!
