97 Civic HB project car for sale in Maryland
I’m selling my 1997 Civic HB. It’s killing me to do this but it must be done. I’m selling my project car. It was to be a turbo H22A powered JDM monster, but things change and a house is more important than a car.
Here’s the break down of what I’m selling. 1997 Civic HB as a rolling chassis no motor no trans is in the car. The car is stripped of some of its interior and many of its bolt on parts in the engine bay because I was getting it ready to be painted. The glass is still in the car at the moment and I still have most of the parts

Engine:
I bought a 98 spec USDM H22A4 motor and transmission and had the engine fully built top to bottom by Jim Justice at Justice Racing in Frederick, MD. Its bore to stoke is now 89 x 90.7, the balance shafts where removed using the Kaizen kit and we had 1mm oversize intake and exhaust valves installed in the head. With a .030 head gasket it came out to be 9.33:1, I have a break down of compression ratios based on a few different head gasket thickness. Engine parts used are as follows.
Block:
Darton sleeves
Arias 89mm 10:1 pistons
Eagle H-Beam rods
Kaizenspeed balance shaft eliminator kit
ARP main studs
ARP head studs
Head:
Port and polished
All Ferrea valve train parts were used
1mm oversize valves (intake and exhaust)
Turbo spec valve springs
Titanium retainers and locks
Misc engine parts:
STR 70mm throttle body
STR cam gears
STR fuel rail
STR cam seal
I was not willing to use any more aftermarket crap on ebay or any of the knock-off sites to get “JDM STYLE” parts; you get what you pay for and I’m tired of paying cheap prices for haft *** parts. I did have to make a few exceptions because of rarity and compatibility though. This is was I have for the interior and exterior.
Exterior parts:
New OEM 99-00 Civic Type R headlights
New OEM 99-00 Civic fenders
New 99-00 Hood not OEM
New OEM Civic Type R thin side moldings (clip in style)
New OEM Civic Type R rear lower lip
Used OEM Civic Type R rear wing
New Spoon mirrors (NOT carbon fiber, flat black style, now discontinued)
New original C-West ABS front bumper and side steps purchased through Motorex
Used 99-00 Civic HB red and clear tail lights
Interior parts:
Used mint condition Type R black and red door panels (power), still have the right hand drive switches
New OEM Type R inner door handles and trim (black to match panels)
OEM power windows, not aftermarket crap
Dash was dyed black to match door panels
New red Type R style interior carpet
06 RSX Type S black leather seats (front only)
S2000 gauge cluster
Suspension parts:
Omni Power suspension kit 12k front and 10k rear full-length coilovers, front and rear camber kits and rear lower control arms.
Password JDM strut brace package with 3-point solid front upper strut bar, solid upper rear and lower strut bars
99-00 Civic Si front spindles and rear trailing arms for rear disc
12" Wilwood 4 pot front brake kit 4 x 100 for Integra or Civic with large hubs, used with about 4,000 miles on it.
As the car sits with all the parts listed I would like to get $10,000 for everything (no trades and i'm not selling anything separate). The car has a clean title just get a trailer and come and get it.
