Default swap question about d15b vtec, blue smoke

I just did this swap a little while ago and finally got it running but when I step on the gas it has no power and there is dark blue smoke out of the exhaust. I haven't actually driven it yet since this kind of worries me. I was thinking maybe the timing was weird or maybe its running rich...? My ecu was chipped by rywire but they sent me another chip also, but Im not sure whether the chip thats in it now is the stock one or the modified one. If anyone has any info I'd appreciate it. I forgot to mention its a p28 ecu and Im using a tb mounted map sensor.

Yeah I think Ill get on that. Ive never done that before but from what I've looked at it doesn't look too hard, just tedious. Is there any certain brand of piston rings I should look for?

I've always had the best results when I used genuine Honda parts, piston rings included. DEFINITELY use honda bearings

Far more difference in who builds the motor than the age old Honda vs ACL bearing. Though he is no longer able to, Old Man Laskey would have told you the builder makes or breaks a motor.
