basically heres the deal my brother totaled his 05 civic dx coupe and he's giving me the entire swap for free. so what i want to know is what is required to do this or is it a direct bolt on to my mounts? what obd would this engine be and how complicated would the wiring go? can i use this transmission? thanks hope you guys can help me out

why would you want to swap in a d17, they suck ***, terrible engines, even if you are getting it for free

 

Free engine though, you cant blame him for trying. I wish I could find a FREE engine. Preferably a k series?

the thing wasi was going to order a dohc zc but when this happened to my bro i was like a engine with 40k **** that ain't bad let me find out what the h-t guys got to say but oh well i guess i'll order my zc
