well i currently have a b16a3 in the engine bay of my ej8 and i need a wiring diagram since the plugs on the engine don't match the ones that came with my ej8.

any help would be appreciated

 

did you use your ex harness on the motor?

what plugs actually dont match?

 

ill try to get some pics up today but under the hood on both driver and passenger side there are 3 plugs from the motor on each side and 2 or 3 on the frame side and they dont match.

also, is a 1999 automatic civic ex obd2a or obd2b?

 

ok i need some major help, after researching for about 2 hours on h-t, i find out that my car is obd2b and i bought an obd2a jumper to obd1 (so 1 prob there) i also find out that automatic existing wiring harnesses wont let the car start with a different engine in (prob number 2) and as for the third problem, well im short on money.

so is there any way i would be able to convert obd2b to obd2a without a jumper harness since i have a 98 civic ex with a 5 speed harness right next to my car....i guess i only need the plugs for the ecu to be changed.

 

nevermind, most of the problems are solved now except for one.

on the driver side of the engine bay, the engine side harness plug does not match up to the cabin side plug. The engine side plug has 13 wires and the cabin side only has 8 on the plug....is there a a site where i can find driver side shocktower plug diagrams for both a 99 civic ex and a 95 del sol dohc vtec?
