so are you saying it wont work?

ive seen pictures with people doing the ap2 rear bumper on the ap1 and the exhausts appears to fit well. thanks for the reply though. a lot of views-little replies...

people probably think im lazy or gave this thread an uninteresting title. i did do a search and i apologize if i missed it.

or..i guess this is uncommon? and people simply dont know?

the other way around yea but you wouldnt make a newer car look older by putting older parts on it.
like i said yea AP2 rears on AP1's no problem but the other way around i think there is something.
again dont quote me on that

Its the exhaust tips. So whichever bumper your going with you would have to use the tips that compliment the bumper. So if your switching to AP2 then use the ap2 tips. If your switching to AP1 then use the AP1 tips. I think the AP1 tips work with the AP2 bumper. But the AP2 tips are longer thus they stick out more if you used them with the AP1 bumper.

Dont quote me on this becuase I am not 100% sure. But from what I have read and seen has lead me to the above conclusion.

the only reason i would do this as well is if i bought a single exhaust... i think S's that have singles and no caps look dumb... it almost looks like ricer body kits for a civic that have the 2 cutouts and only one exhaust...
