shaved side marker. dual filament blinker/side marker LEGAL?
98 prelude: i had my side makers shaved off my bumper and now i have no orange lighting up front. i was thinking of making the front turn signal bulbs dual filament so that they also become my sidemaker..or so called side cuz now it'll be in the front. would that be a legal way of getting some sidemarker ligthing? i'll most likey get the side makers that go on the fenders...eventually that is.
not sure of the laws where you live, but in MN, you need an amber reflector visible from 90 degrees each side of car.
a friend of mine got pulled over because he had clear lenses, which reflect white. I know you aren't asking about the reflector, but if you don't have the light, i assume you don't have the reflector either, which is required to be legal

putting a dual filiment bulb in your turn signal won't do anything special. It's still going to operate the same way. I also shaved my front bumper a few months back. Screw having the side markers, and I defanitly don't wanna drill a hole in my fender to put a side marker there. Depending on where you live and how the cops are, then you shouldn't have a problem.
