I am putting a 99 CTR center console in my 96 EK9. I am doing this so I can install my Alpine Double Din and Blackbird Navigation. I need to know if anybody has done this and if so what all you had to change to make it work. I am going to change the dash I guess because the 96 console has slide type heater controls and the 99 has ***** and I don't know of anyway to make the CTR console work eccept to change everything for the climate controls and the dash. Any help or info would be greatly app. Thanks in advance.

 

if im not mistaken, i believe it is a little more than swapping dash and climate controls. the climate controls for a 96-98 are cable and the 99-00 is electronic.

 

Yes u are right but I think I can put the wirering harness from the 99 in with the dash. Basicly I am going to put everything from the firewall back from a 99 into my car. Just want to make sure that it is all needed before I do it all.

Any help from anybody that has done this.
