Default Painting my SI-r lip, preping the lip

I am going to take off my SI-R lip this weekend and begin preping it for paint to color match my car. My question is how should I go about preping it for paint. I know the usual sand, paint, clear, wet sand steps, but is there some kind of spray that you spray on that helps the paint stick to the plastic better? I heard someoen talk about this before, but just forgot the name of it. Any preping tips will be awsome.

you can buy adhesion promoter from any decent body supply shop, maybe even your local parts store

not a bad idea IMO

Word, like $5 a can at the local Autozone and that should be plenty for 2 maybe 3 medium coats for a lip. Then proceed to prime, seal (optional), base coat, clear coat. Wet sand in between coats for show quality finish.
