Does the JDM Honda Badges (Red Ones) fit directly into prexisting holes or do they need to be modified ETC?

you should shave your emblems. or put Acura ones.. dont be a JDM *****

 

Red H badges do not fit OEM badge holes, they need to be shaved and glued on. The OEM badges are just chromed out H with chrome suuround, whereas the H badge is in Block form with the H encased in red solid surround

 

two side tape work? to put them on the car. the emblems should cover the holes up

 

I bought red JDM badges for my HONDA integra.. (i'm in Asia.. no such thing as "Acura" over here..)

the rear badge fit perfectly, however the front didn't, so I "widened" the holes in my front bumper in order for the other badge to fit snug..

just curious.. does anyone know why the US decided to invent "Acura"? Why couldn't all the cars be under the "Honda" name like everywhere else in the world?!

 

Dunno, But didn't Toyota also do this with the Lexus? Maybe they are tyring to create a higher end car in peoples minds. A type of marketing trick

its weird.. because yes, we got Lexus and Toyota.. and both brands of the same model are on sale here (like the aristo, land cruiser, and its lexus brothers).. just that the lexus one will always cost 20-40% more than the toyota version.. and have perhaps a little bit more leather or wood inside the car..

but I mean.. what's wrong with using "honda" for the integra and the NSX? i mean, look at the new integra DC5.. why should they have to call it the "RSX" when the older DC2 was called Integra, and Acura went along with the same name usage? baffles me..

 

Well I just ordered the rear emblem. We will see how it goes

 

y the "luxury" sister companies in the states? hmm..becuz stupid people at the head office say "hey we should make these known as the luxury line so people buy it and pay for the gold emblem edition"....or higher end..however u wanna call it...i alwasy felt cars like TL's legends, rl's etc etc..okay acura fine..but the integras and nsx's shouldve been left honda.

look at that one jaguar..its a friggin ford taurus..yet all the old people "bE StUnNin" in that ****

Well I got my rear JDM Genuine Honda Emblem today. Took the other off. It fits perfectly. I am not sure what the guy above is talking about. I get the front on Monday I'll keep ya posted

 

cuz the majority of america DOESNT want to spend 30+ grand for a toyota or a honda

I have a JDM integra Si and the red H badges didnt fit in the original holes, i had to glue them on. Possibly USDM hole spacings are different...thats what the guy above was talking about.

The ironic thing is that to be "JDM" you'd need to shave your Acura emblem since JDM Integras don't have a badge there.

 

I don't care about JDM. I just want nice badges. JDM Tegs have Red front and rear
