3. can i use those cheap hid kits from ebay with projectors ????
4. what are the best projector to install ???
5. why do most people use 4100k hid ???? why not go 8000k or 12000k ????

Mainly because it's not really necessary, and because switching HIDs on and off quickly (as in flashing high beams) is not good for the system. Most "retrofits" involve projectors, which are not a good choice for high beams.

There are very few specific HID fog lamp projectors available, so you would end up having to modify a set of low-beam HID projectors to achieve a fog pattern.

Yes, but you would have to make sure that you order a kit that included standard D2S capsules.

There really isn't one "best" projector, and most people take into account the size of the housing they're trying to retrofit into, as well as what they can source relatively easily and inexpensively. You aren't going to have bad results regardless of which OEM HID projectors you select, but if you really want to research them in depth, you can check out the information available over at HID Planet.

The 4100K (4300K) capsules generate the most light, with the most useful output colour. The 8000K+ kits generate less light, and the blue/purple output is not ideal.
