will 99 h22a4 work in a 1998 Honda prelude
is there a different? i will be using a obd2 h22a4 p5m 98 ecu but im putting in a 99 h22a4 motor. will it effect anything with ecu reading wise?

As long as you have a base model and you are putting a base h22a4 engine.
Or you have an SH and are putting an h22a4 SH engine it will be fine.
You won't have any problems with the ecu reading it. or the wiring.
