04-05 EP3s get "carpet" rear fender liners...WTF BBQ
Good morning, i just finished washing my 2005 EP3 and i noticed the rear fender liner looks to be constructed of some carpet/felt like material...wtf bbq is up with that. Due to all the rain here in the Bay Area lately, i noticed some leave particles etc were "stuck" in the rear fender liners...probably since its carpet/felt all the dirt sticks. Are the 02-03 EP3's rear fender liner made of carpet/felt too or are they made of rubber...what fender liners should always be anyways. Just wondering cause this is pissing me off.

The "carpet" you referred to in the rear-wheel wells was added as a sound deadener in '04. It's unique to the '04 & '05s. The '02s & '03s don't have any added insulation.
