Hey guys, well i need to replace my throttle body for my 00 civic ex (d16y8) 5-speed and i couldnt find any one with one for a manual and my question was, would a stock b16 throttle work for my stock motor? I know it will bolt right up but will everything else function? Please i need help and need to replace my throttle body badlly........

 

im not gona say for sure cause ive never done it but if it bolts up it should work. ive seen on here people use biger bore b series tb's on single cams thinking it will add more hp.

no clue on fit but Erik95ls has a stock b16 throttle body he'd probably sell to you. contact him on pm

 

yes it will maybe Ur ill will be a little bit higher no more than 100 rpms or so and thats due to the bore of the b16 throttle body

Any b-series and h-series throttle bodies will bolt up with no modification.

 

The TB will bolt up and work. That said, the bore will be larger than the bore of the manifold - you may want to think about port matching.
