i cant pass the emission and i was told its the timing and one of my sensor's......how could i find out the right timing and what sensor's are bad

 

do you have the printout of your test thats shows where you failed? as far as the timing, you can take it somewhere and have it adjusted accordingly, or borrow/buy a timing gun and try to do it yourself..... as far as your sensors go, is your check engine light on?

 

yea i have the paper its running way to rich...but yea the check light is on

 

Pull the code.

 

1. O2 sensor. 2. CAT. 3. A/F sensor. 4. Vacc leak. 5. Fuel system plugged. 6. MAP, MAP sensor... etc. Pull the CEL code first to see what the computer says.

 

nah i had got a new cat but i member i had got one of the codes and it was the fuel Supply system whats that mean or like how do i fix it
