Default opinions on trannies?

I'm planning to do a b20 swap into my da this summer. my question is, which is a better transmission for it? seems like my choices are a b16 cable or to stick with my gsr trans.

also, rather than waste another topic, b20b or b20z? vtec or non? planning t upgrade all motor internals also. if this belongs in all motor I apologize.

thanks in advance - steve

If its a cable GSR that you have, then I would stick with that. If you have hte choice and money, etc, I would get the B20Z. The VTEC part is more of a what you want(your opinion) than what is better than the others like your other questions.
