Default Racing Sports Akimoto SRI VS AEM CAI

has any one heard of Racing Sports Akimoto? well ever since i found out about the bad stuff of a cold air intake, well i want to get rid of mine has any one heard of Racing Sports Akimoto short ram and will it be a good trade? and does any one know if it is a good replacement for the OEM intake

Had an Akimoto on my old Nissan, and on my first teg. Was very very loud. I liked it, seemed to breath just right.

you only have to worry about your CAI if it freaken POURS like hell and lots of puddles. HYDROLOCK FTL... get AEM intake.. its what i got :D i love it.

get some dryer hose and a sock, it will produce the sound and performance of a sri. or go all out to home depot and get some pvc and use a cone filter from autozone, it'll cost 20 bucks all together and do the same thing.

just make sure you lube everything up with elbow grease

and don't force it to work with rubberbands and glue, like when you put 98+ turn signals on a 94-97 bumper
