hey my new dvd deck runs when the car is off, its connected to the battery i guess, when my keys are not in the ignition i cant use the deck but the system is still on. is that bad? there is a fan in my system thats not loud but i can still hear it. do any of you guys think its gona kill my battery? the fan is pretty small. mabye 1.5 inches let me kno, thanks

 

re wire it.

battery will die.. eventually...

if your turn on lead is broken..

then hook it up so that the amps, and stuff turn on with ignition.

 

rewire it...12 volt from radio goes to blue/white wire from car and ignition wire from radio goes to yellow/red wire from car....or just buy a female adapter from best buys or something... very simple

 

Did you install it or a shop? If a shop take it back. If not check your wiring. good luck.

 

First, If you need help. Please post the make and model of the car and whats kind of radio that you have. This way there is no guessing
