That is pretty rare actually... Not sure if it's worth much though. I would hold on to it for a few more years if I were you!

Haha, I'm the exact opposite, I just moved to Merced b/c of the UC here. Well, the replaced the Firehouse with Big Bad Bubbas BBQ. Opened up a hotel/parking garage downtown and are building alot of housing developments in the north part of town. It's very quiet here. I like that I can study w/ no distractions but there's not to much to do in town. They did renovate the Mainzer and reopened the old old theater. that's pretty much it. Woo hoo for fellow Mercedian.

Are you referring to the old theater downtown? I actually saw a movie there when it was still open...... Man, that's been a good while.

Yaa the UC is right across Lk. Yosemite. It's the theater w/ a big sign above it that says Merced.
