I am looking to buy a type R lip, probably a replica in the near future. I am going to be painting my front bumper and I want to paint my lip to match it. My question is can I only paint certain kinds of material such as abs plastic? Any help is awsome

 

I'm not sure what you mean, but as long as you prep and paint properly, you should not have any problem.

 

As long as you prep the surface correctly you shouldn't have any problems.

for the polyurethane lips don't you have to mix something in the paint to give it some flex so the paint doesn't crack, since the polyurethane is "flexible" unlike the abs? You can't just rattle can the poly like abs right
