Default Blueish tint smoke?

Alright, everytime my car idles when its cold and when i drive when its cold it has a white smoke comeing from the exhaust which i beleive is condensation. Well i just noticed today when i rev it up, at like 4,000 to 4500 rpms it smokes a little and the smoke juust bairly has a blue tint. I just got this motor swapped about a year ago. and i also know im leaking oil i think, i think its coming from the oil pan, or the rear main seal. i also recenty just failed emissions with a little too much CO. And i have herd that i "need" a valve adjustment. PLEASE help me i dont want to kill it lol. Oh and im like 3 months over due for a oil change but aint got the cash.

the oil is getting past your piston rings. you can either replace the or try a "band-aid" approach and put that blue engine restore stuff that comes in a silver can at autozone to see if that will seal them. definately change your oil too.

nope a bad cat has nothing to do with it.

what makes a "bad cat" is deposits clogging it thus putting too much backpressure on the engine...almost suffocating it.

the motor had like 80,000 miles on it when i got it the tech said, its a jdm d15b non vtec, and it wasent rebuilt. i do happen to know though where ever the oil is leaking under my car it has totally gotten on my cat and my exhaust, could that be it just burning off?

the smoke is coming out of the tailpipe, correct? it is not the oil leak.

the engine restore comes in a silver can and is only a few bucks, sounds like youre not burning oil too horribly bad so this might fix it. the best fix is to replace the rings however...

No reason to be a ******** to somebody in a bad spot. It would be a real bitch if karma came to visit you in the near future now wouldn't it?

924doorEG... Find the oil leak first. Smoking isn't a big deal at the moment by what you are describing.

Possible sources of common oil leaks: Check the oil pressure sender, crank seal, distributor o-ring, and make sure your drain plug and filter are on tight.

You can burn oil all day long, your motor won't blow up or anything.. It's fairly normal for most Honda's to burn oil at higher RPMs, but it sounds like your problem is a little more serious.

You really need to change your oil, put in some decent brand oil and a filter, doesn't have to be the Genuine Honda ****... And make sure you don't overfill past the normal amount that goes in.

The dizzy o ring and stuff is fine, the leak us coming from underneath the car and is getting on the exhaust, cat, shift linkage, and practicly everything. when im driveing a while i can smell oil burn BAD but i dont go through much oil at all. after two months i go through a quarter of a quart of oil. And as far as that dick head talking ****, im paying for my own collage to be a auto tech, my dads a druggie, and my mom dosent care so they're out the of question im on my own dawg and been that way since 13. i was paying my mom rent at 15 so dont talk ****.
