Default DIY: $5 AMBER Cluster

Well i didn't see a DIY for this amber cluster on HT so i'd thought i'd do one. haha.

also if you look around theres alot of pictures and things of other people putting diff colors or bulbs in their clusters.

Theres also another
DIY:for changing the clock color.. posted by mac_24_seven on pg3

What you need:
Screw Driver
194 Bulbs (autozone)
10 Mins of your time.

Remove Cluster

Remove OEM BULBS

Replace OEM BULB with the new ones

Put everything back and you're done.

quick and simple DIY

Not to clean cause camera phone But its nice

You didn't see a DIY for this because everyone uses LED's for hte cluster and there are like 5 DIY's for the cluster lighting in several different colors.

Heres a link to a DIY write-up just down the page:

i made mine light up red

and currently working on converting dashboard illumination to red as well. so far i approximated 20leds to achieve decent illumination without black spots. this is including changeover of those green lights when you press buttons

ill make a new thread on this with pics and everything, maybe even will come up with DIY for you guys

everything for my dush that works with dimmer doesnt work no more but trun signals light up ABS light up and HAND BRAKE ligths up and DOORS OPEN light up, so it must be the fuse right? wrong , because cliamte and rest light up and parking lights and headlights work so it is specifically the cluster or dash and i replaced old bulbs so i really dont know

It could be the bulbs. Try putting the OEM bulbs back in and see if they work. idk what else could be the problem if you did everything right.
