Ok heres the deal, i was racing my friends STI from a 45 roll-2nd gear. He had 4 people, i was only driver.
well anyways i was running him and as i shifted into 4th from 3rd, it grinded like a mother F*****. so then after i let off, i hit my brakes and down shifted but my clutch pedal just SANK half way down, and im like WTF?!
I drove it today and its still SUNK lower than normal...what do you guys think is the problem? do i need a new clutch?
-THANKS!

slave cylinder can be checked from underneath the car.....there is a rubber boot around it w/ 2 pin size holes so you can see if it is leaking...
check master cylinder by laying on your back by your pedals and see if there is any fluid behind your clutch and up a lil bit, mine is gunky
monitor clutch fluid reservoir to see if you are draining any fluid...
if not, then bleed line for air pockets to escape...
THEN replace your clutch if the problem persists
