what size rims should i get for my del sol? 15x7 or 16x7 i dont really care about brand as long as their all black... i was lookin at the sportmax 039 im lookin too get better performance than my stock 14" as well as a better look.
15x7.
cheaper to replace the rim and the tires should anything fail/wear, slight increase in final drive from smaller overall diameter if using 205/50, lighter wheel due to smaller size.

as little as possible i hate spending my money on "cosmetic stuff" because i have so many performance upgrades i want, but my car cant take high speed turns very fast b/c my stock rims are so skinny and i want something wider.

i would stick with a good namebrand for wheels. especially since you are taking "high-speed" turns. search around on the marketplace, there are plenty out there for a good price.

its lowered 1.5" i think i can fit 2 fingers

i've got 17's on my 4door ek chassis, and i think they're a little bit too big, it rubs a little. however, i like my 16's but i'm going with x8 in the spring with some deep dish & stretched 40's rubber
I think that 15's or 16's would look good on your Sol, I have 15x6.5" Konig Heliums and they are awesome rims, 10.8 lbs a piece, im getting sum RT-615's this winter for them.
