Default Buying '95 GSR Soon Need Help

Ok so heres a list of the car:

1995 ACURA INTEGRA GSR
130000 miles
STANDARD: A/C, Power steering, Cruise Control, Clean blk leather interior, Pansonic CD player
SALV DUE TO THEFT

JDM sidemarkers
2000 front end
2000 rear bumper
2000 side mirror
2000 itr front lip
2000 type r climate control and clock (glows amber)
2000 black leather gsr seats
2000 blades with kumho tires GREAT TREAD
skunk 2 intake manifold
skunk 2 short shifter
Coiler Over Fronts/ Springs back
Viper Alarm

Runs great and just passed smog. This car has been very taken care of and I can get a print out of the oil change record upon request. Very clean inside and out!

Ok i went and drove this car and was completely amazed at the condition it was in. The paint was in great shape, GSR leathers were PERFECT. The blades had a little wear but nothing i cant fix. Pulls hard and seems like everything is in order with this car.

Owner has had since 50-60k and it was not stole under his owner ship.

And how much problems would i get at DMV for salv title?

Now would $4,800 be to much for this car? I already talked him down.

I would probably try to get the price down a little just because of the salvage title. The DMV will treat it like any other change of ownership I believe from what I have been told there in the past. However, the car does have 1.3 million miles. Hah, I assume you meant 130k right? Try to post some pics up if possible so people have a better idea of what you are considering buying.

Edit: Did you talk him down to 4800 or is that what he was asking in the first place? Maybe try for 4500 and call it good if you really want the car and if it is in good shape.

From the pics the car looks pretty nice. It doesn't need paint or body work or anything?

I mean there are minor and i mean real minor scracthes on the driver side door, looks like jingling keys did that number on it.

As far as everything else, completely flawless.
No chips/dents any where

that's a good price for a car with all those extras and in that good of a shape. The dmv doesn't do anything different with salvaged cars, all they ask for is the smog and break and light test, other than that they just do a transfer of ownership.
