Hi everyone,
I just bought another crx si, it's a 91, But it has an after market alarm kill switch thing installed. anyway my Question is. I don't like the switch(real hassle to start the car) and the alarms horn doesn't even work it's been cut from the hot line (so it looks real ugly just sitting their taking up space, So can these two security systems be removed and the car's wiring back to OEM specs and working properly, and what is the average price for this, where do I go? circuit city?
Also can I remove the horn myself in the meantime by just cutting the ground wire and grounding it separately since the hot line is cut anyways, without risking messing anything up.
Any help appreciated thanks.
Edit: I think the alarm and kill switch are one unit, the kill switch consists of a button I have to press while I start the car and a flip switch that has to be in the right direction before I do so.
