ok, i am trying to install a 94' gsr airbag on my 97' rs and the clips are different, so i need to unhook the pins from the 94' airbag and re-hook them into my 97' clip...on the 97' there is 2 yellow wires...do they matter where the go? anyone know what wire means which on both obd1 and obd2a airbags???

DON'T DO IT! You'll most likely end up deploying your airbags. Just buy the right airbag. Also, are you sure that airbag is from a 97? Does it say "Acura" on the front or just have the "A" Acura logo?

 

it says acura and i am sure that the bag is from a 94'...i am getting it in a package deal so i kinda have to do it so i can install everything in one shot...any pinout links would be great....

the 94-95 clockspring is different than 96+...thus the whole harness for the airbag/srs system is different

you definately want to make sure you have a 96-97 airbag
