question regarding code and dizzy
hey everyone,
I was on the interstate earlier tonight and my car started throwing the code 9 cel.
Cel 9- (CYP cylinder sensor)
engine: b16a
just for knowledge, not boosted yet
now I have had the swap for a good 2 years now, had some spuddering problems with it, but not too bad, boggy but alright. Now i just actually just saw a post on H-T saying that the spuddering and cel 9 is associated with the distributer.https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id...ostid=31778399 (obviously)
question: I could just replace the sensor...or I could buy an obd1 dizzy. I am leaning toward just buying the distributor...but i do buy it for a 92-95 gsr right? And when i do buy the gsr dizzy, will this solve the problem of the spuddering and cel?!
(and yes i know, b16 - obd0, but im going turbo, and im going obd1)
is all this accurate information regarding the code and dizzy? I just need to make sure before i head to the bank tomarrow.
thx honda-tech
