well since i cant do the zc head, what are some ways to get the most hp out of a d16y8,i already have a dc 4-2-1 header,skunk2 exhaust,aem air intake. i need some options, opinions. thanks

Find a dyno queen supra and steal its turbo.

Boost is nice, but the D16Y's oil pumps suck *** - so I would change that to one from a Z6 and change the headgasket before I boost it.

PS:
As others have said, boost or nothing - you can't make "good" power for a reasonable amount of money while still keeping the car streetable out of a SOHC 4 banger.

do you have a budget? if you do, go with a junkyard turbo kit. or you can use a buncha NAWZ!!
