i am trin to build a honda just for fuel doesn't have to be fast just good gassmiles...

so far i have a stock crx motor dpfi

i don't know what trans to use

and i am pretty sure i am gonna put a y8 intake mani on it and convert my hatch to mpfi and obd1

help me out on what trans to use

and what would give me better mpg

Lots of things you could do without even touching the engine. Losing unnecessary weight, and decrease rolling resistance (narrow, lightweight tires) will go a long ways.
