650-700 hp and a 42r ok for the street? if your looking to just drive it on the street and not trying to do a 1/4 mile race down the street you should be ok depending on the whole cars setup. if it's a fully gutted no ac/heat caged car it is not practical, but could be driven. a twin plate or heavy plate is not friendly in traffic, and a 42r lag is like tomorrow, for normal driving. i would get a different dd (beater car). sounds like a crazy project , but will be better use on the strip then street.

thanks for the advise.. i also talked to one of my friends and i guess a gt3567r will be a better turbo for my setup and better for daily use .. thanks

look into the Borg Warner S3xx series...there are a few that might work well for your goals

Another turbo that is perfect for your goals is the t3/t67 HO BB. Its good for about 700whp (your goals) and probably wouldnt have as much lag as the gt42r. Not to mention its about half the price. Since you want to drive it on the streets and all it might better in the lag category. No point in getting extra turbo your not gonna use.
