y8 into 95 eg help
please don't tell me to search... i've done that already...
basically some people said to run the obd1 harness w/ obd2 clips... other say to use the y8 harness with a jumper harness or conversion clip or something... my question is: do either of these work? and if so, which one is better? also... the y8 i bought has a manual trans, and i plan on using my z6 auto trans. which brings me to my next question; could i run my z6 p28 or do i need to get an auto y8 ecu? thanks in advance for those who help.

my .02 cents would be swap over your intake mani and dizzy and run your z6 harness and youll save alot of headaches thats if you have the z6 motor still

Won't affect anything except for the engine's base timing, you mean. Oh, and that second Oxygen sensor. Oh **** - and the crank angle sensor.
Maybe it's better if you use the proper harness and ECU after all.
